Qualified to Teach Others

2 Timothy 2:2

BIBLE INSTITUTE

According to stats 75% of the world’s Christians live in Africa, Asia, and South America. 85% of the 2.2 million evangelical churches worldwide are led by pastors with no theological training, and 60% of the world’s population are oral learners.

In Peru the numbers aren’t that much different. Very few pastors in the Peruvian Jungles and jungle The majority of pastors and church leaders have attended 3 days conferences on different topics however, they have never been trained and discipled in a multi-year Institute. Due to these reasons the church in Iquitos and the Amazon region is stagnant and not growing; having very little impact.

In October of 2022 IAM launched a partnernship with World Hope International to start two Bible Institute locations in Pucallpa and Requena.

The personal attention we give to our students, distinguishes us from other institutes, and requires that the professor know the life, feelings, concerns, and interests of their students, recognizing the different rhythms and diverse styles of learning represented.

Our Vision is to extend the kingdom of God, fulfilling the great commission through the formation of competent ministers by Biblical, theological, ministerial and human development training.

Our Mission is to train men and women that have accepted the divine call and are dedicated to realizing the work of God, living out the word they preach in their daily life, being capable of influencing the environment in which the labor.

Our Purpose is the training of believers, to serve and be ministers of Christ, in the church and the world.

Indigenous Pastor Training

In 2016 IAM began a partnership with the Cocama Project to train pastors in the Maranon, Amazon and Tigre rivers region.  Using IAM’s material of Chronological storying and the Cocama Projects relationships with the pastors of this region we are seeing a tremendous response from the pastors as they are equipped in a culturally contextual way to reach their people.  If you would like to help support these pastors to be trained you can do so through the Cocama Project by clicking on the following link or by contacting Sam Nicholson through his email [email protected]g
